Energy medicine, energy therapy or energy healing, a branch of complementary and alternative medicine, holds the belief that a healer can channel healing energy into the person seeking help by different methods: hands-on, hands-off, and distant (or absent) where the patient and healer are in different locations. There are various schools of energy healing. It is known as biofield energy healing, spiritual healing, contact healing, distant healing, therapeutic touch, Reiki or Qigong. Spiritual healing is largely non-denominational: practitioners do not see traditional religious faith as a pre-requisite for affecting a cure. Chakra Balancing
Energy Medicine SF will assess your chakras' alignment and provide energy work and chakra balancing to maintain healthy chakras. Balancing your chakras improves your health and wellbeing, physically, mentally and emotionally. Chakras are wheels of light located all over our body. We have thousands of them in our body but the seven major ones are located along our spine from its base to the crown of the head. Each chakra is represented by a colour of the rainbow - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. Chakras are like the power stations of our body, bringing it to life, and keeping it healthy. Each chakra is associated with different parts of us and they need to spin totally in balance for us to feel good. The chakras absorb energy that comes from our thoughts, feelings and outside environment and feed this to our body. Our body is affected by the quality of the energy that passes through the chakras. For instance, if we have negative feelings, we will be filtering negative energy through our chakras and into our body Over time this can make our body ill. Keeping our chakras in tip-top condition is the key, in other words keeping them spinning in balance. Chakra balancing is a bit like spring-cleaning the chakras and fine-tuning them.
Gong Sound Bath
The gong is one of the oldest musical instruments in the world. Based on ancient wisdom, the gongs vibrate at the same frequency as the body allowing the body to heal itself. The sounds and vibrations of the gong create deep relaxation and state of meditation by altering brain waves from a Beta (waking state) to Theta & Delta (deep meditation). Science teaches that during these brain frequencies we access our deeper subconscious and superconscious and they are key states for healing.
No water is involved in a Gong Bath Meditation. During a session you sit or preferably, recline in comfort and allow the sounds to “wash” over you. A guided meditation opens and closes each session as well as a selection of Himalayan & crystal bowls, chimes, drums, rattles, drones and voice are incorporated into each healing session.
Many people have noticeable experiences during a Gong Bath. People can feel their bodies twitch (as the energy meridians are cleared & balanced), have insights, bursts of creative ideas, see splashes of color behind their closed eyes, out of body experiences, or simply experience feelings of total peace & connectedness.
Gong sound can be used to rebalance the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. It has a profound affect on our cardiovascular, autonomic, endocrine and immune systems. It is an excellent therapy for stress related issues, depression, fatigue, anger and hostility, feelings of separation, loneliness, and fear along with many other conditions related to lack of balance and harmony in the body.
The sounds of the gong can be used to create a sense of unity within a group and stimulate peaceful, creative solutions.

Acupressure
Acupressure is an alternative medicine technique developed in Tibet before the development of Acupuncture. In acupressure physical pressure is applied to trigger points by the hand, elbow, or with various devices.
Neuroimaging research suggests that certain acupuncture points have distinct effects that are not otherwise predictable anatomically.
Acupoints used in treatment may or may not be in the same area of the body as the targeted symptom. The Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theory for the selection of such points and their effectiveness is that they work by stimulating the meridian system to bring about relief by rebalancing yin, yang and qi (also spelled "chi"). This theory is based on the paradigm of TCM.
